About a week ago Joe McGrath suggested that we should identify and acknowledge first responders and medical care providers from our class of ‘63. The thought was stimulated by seeing just how much those professions are on the forefront in the current battle against the corona virus, and how much we appreciate what they do. As Joe said in his writeup “ when we think of those first responders and health care professionals who preceded them, we see that they also have dealt with life and death, sickness and health, dedication and sacrifice, tragedy and success.”
So, with the help of a few of our classmates Joe put together a list of those in our class who served in those professions. We know the list may not be complete and are asking for our fellow classmates to contact us to add/correct what we have on the website. You can visit the new page by clicking here.
Thank you Joe M. for the idea and the work.
Jim Crane was a St. Paul fire fighter and one of the first EMTs.
Tom,
Many thanks. I will add his name to the web page.
